Here is a brief summary of the home buying process. I am here to help make the process as easy and stress free as possible. As your Realtor, I will help you with the following:
1. Assist you with the selection of your home.
2. Provide you with due diligence during the evaluation of the property, and will try to point out unnoticed and potential problems.
3. Once you decide on a home, I will help you negotiate the price of the home. We will meet so you can sign the offer. I can email or fax you the forms if you prefer.
4. Once your offer is accepted, you will need to follow through with your financing obligation with your chosen lender. I will help provide a list of lenders you may or may not choose to use.
5. I will set up your home inspections and also provide you with a list of inspectors. I will be present during the inspection process especially if you can not be present. After you receive the inspection report I will go over any defects in the property with you to help resolve the problems with the seller.
6. Once the financing contingency and home inspection contingencies are removed, then we proceed to settlement.
7. I will also provide you with a list of settlement companies.
8. We will perform a final walk through usually the morning of settlement to make sure the house is in the condition agreed upon.
9. Settlement usually takes about an hour after which time, you become the HOME OWNERS!
